Myth Makers: Rewriting nature’s stories
Eden Project, The Art and Nature Collective and RSPB are collaborating to deliver a storytelling-based workshop based on the journey of a seed floating down the Tay, imagining it’s adventures, growth and future.
Participants will be invited to write a short story about the seed’s journey, imagining where it might go and what it might see in the future. Then, they will fold the paper over so that only the last line or two is visible. Pass it on to the next person, who will continue the story and fold the paper again. Continue this process until you reach the end of the paper. Finally, The Myth Maker will reveal the story you have created together.
Other Activities Include:
- A walking element to spark participants imaginations, connecting sensory experiences with creative thinking about nature.
- Four work stations where participants develop different aspects of the same story with two artists supporting with storytelling and illustrating.
- Seed exploration with Eden Project and nature watching with RSPB.
