Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh – Scottish Roots: Second Level workshops
Join the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh on a journey which merges storytelling, folklore, scientific investigation and traditional plant uses to learn about some of the most interesting Scottish plants. Use scientific skills to solves problems, discover some of the stories hidden in plant names and connect with Scottish plant heritage. Pupils will also contribute to our plant storybook where you can contribute your own plant stories as well as hearing the stories of pupils across Scotland! This workshop was made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund with thanks to National Lottery players.

Age and stage: P5-7 (Second level)
Max group size: 33 pupils
Running time: 1.5hr
Learning Outcomes:
